Description Some people have been putting in the wrong size screws and screwing straight throuhg there Solenoids. If you do that you will need one of these. Technical Please select the year of your gun. the 05 and 06 use the old style of solenoid, the 07/08 use a newer style. 05/06 solenoid is pictured above. This Ego solenoid is a direct replacement for your damaged Ego solenoid. Replacement of your existing solenoid is simple. Directions for a 05/06 replacement is below. Its always best to refer to your manual for more detailed directions. – Degas your ego and remove the three grip screws from the right hand side of your rubber grip. – Unplug the solenoid and BBSS from the circuit board. – Undo the two frame screws and remove the grip frame from the body of your Ego. – Using an appropriately sized Phillips head screw driver remove the two solenoid retaining screws and the damaged solenoid. – Replace with the new solenoid and reverse the above procedure to re-assemble your marker.
