The Etek3 is no different. By combining many features and<br \/>\nparts found and used within the Ego range, but in a pared-down design,<br \/>\nit allows the Etek3 to perform at similar levels, but at a price-point<br \/>\nthat makes it obtainable by the more cost-conscious player. A true<br \/>\nMarker for the Masses.<\/p>\n<p>The Etek3 will be available in 2 different models: Etek3 LT and Etek3 AM<\/p>\n<p>This is the base model and will feature, for the very first time on<br \/>\nan Eclipse marker, Composite parts. The composite parts in question are<br \/>\nmanufactured from Glass Reinforced Nylon. A very durable material that<br \/>\nis both tough and rigid. The GRN parts found on the Etek3 LT will be<br \/>\nthe Frame, the Eye Covers and the Lever-Locking Clamping Feedtube<br \/>\nassembly. All other parts of the Etek3 LT are manufactured from exactly<br \/>\nthe same materials and finishes you will find on the Ego10 and SL<br \/>\nrange. High grade aluminum and stainless steel, deep cosmetic and<br \/>\nindustrial hard anodizing. No corners are cut in the manufacture of the<br \/>\nEtek3.<\/p>\n<p>New for 2010 Planet Eclipse Etek 3 paintball gun is one of the most<br \/>\nanticipated guns for this year. Like the Ego7 onwards, the FRM of the Etek3<br \/>\nis integrated into the body for reliability and robustness.<\/li>\n<li>Deftek<br \/>\nFeed: Offset Feed. The feed is offset to one side by a small amount.<br \/>\nThis prevents the balls that tumble into the breech from bouncing<br \/>\nexcessively and causing breaks and chops.<\/li>\n<li>New Smaller Rammer<br \/>\nHousing: Still using the proven Rammer Housing design from the Etek2,<br \/>\nbut in a much smaller package. This makes the whole rear bottom tube<br \/>\nsmaller and allows the gun to be more compact.<\/li>\n<li>Zick Kit: The<br \/>\nZick kit that became famous in the SL74 and carried through all 08 and<br \/>\n09 Ego production, can be found as standard in the Etek3. Helps reduce<br \/>\nkick and softens the initial impact on the ball during loading<\/li>\n<li>Cure<br \/>\nBolt: Again carried over from the Ego range, the Etek3 now has a Cure<br \/>\nbolt as standard, as well as a body-contoured cut at the rear so the<br \/>\nbolt blends seamlessly into the marker body. The Cure bolt helps the<br \/>\nEtek3 to shoot the most fragile of tournament grade paints without<br \/>\nworry of breaks due to the bolt clipping paintballs in the feed stack.<\/li>\n<li>New<br \/>\nDirect Mounted Solenoid: An all new moulded solenoid Minifold mounts<br \/>\nthe ever-faithful SMC solenoid directly to the marker body, directly<br \/>\nadjacent to the rammer. There is now just a single hose taking the LP<br \/>\nair from the LPR to the new Minifold. The new Minifold is filtered for<br \/>\nadded protection of the solenoid from debris.<\/li>\n<li>S3 Inline<br \/>\nRegulator: Taken directly from the Ego10, the S3 regulator features a<br \/>\nself-purging device to ensure that the valve chamber is left empty once<br \/>\nthe tank has been removed. Coil spring construction also means quick<br \/>\nand simple maintenance with no washer or shim stack to loose or<br \/>\nincorrectly assemble. It also has exceptional accuracy and recharge<br \/>\nrates. The things that are essential for shot-to-shot consistency and<br \/>\naccuracy at even high, sustained rates of fire.<\/li>\n<li>Adjustable LPR:<br \/>\nWith the same LPR found on the SL8r Ego, the Etek3 offers precise<br \/>\ncontrol of LPR pressure, without the risk of accidental<br \/>\nover-pressurization of the solenoid or rammer.<\/li>\n<li>Fully Adjustable<br \/>\nTrigger: The Trigger rides in a self-lubricating trigger holder that<br \/>\nclips neatly into the frame. This, combined with the magnetic trigger<br \/>\nreturn mechanism, creates a smooth, positive trigger feel. It is<br \/>\nadjustable for fore and aft stop as well as magnetic return strength.<\/li>\n<li>2-Piece<br \/>\nBarrel: 14\u00e2\u0080\u009d 2-piece honed barrel with the distinct Eclipse Reverse<br \/>\nThreading using the same interface as the Shaft2, Shaft3 and SL<br \/>\nbarrels, making the Etek3 barrel upgradeable with the Shaft3 Upgrade<br \/>\npack. 0.693 rear bore is standard.<\/li>\n<li>Break Beam Sensor System:<br \/>\nUsing the same components and software as the Ego BBSS system, the<br \/>\nEtek3 ensures that the marker is excellent at preventing chopped balls<br \/>\nin the breech. When enabled, the Etek3 will only fire once a ball has<br \/>\nloaded into the breech. If the BBSS system sees any kind of fault, the<br \/>\nsoftware automatically overrides the system and the marker continues to<br \/>\nfire at a greatly reduced rate.<\/li>\n<li>LED Board: 3 tru-color LED<br \/>\nindicators. These 3 clever LEDs allow easy programming of all the user<br \/>\ndefinable parameters by greatly simplifying the programming process.<br \/>\nThe top LED indicates 10s of units, the middle displays 1s and the<br \/>\nbottom shows 0.1 increments.<\/li>\n<li>Programmable Firing Modes: Etek3<br \/>\nhas user definable settings for Dwell, Ball-in-Place, Eyes Off ROF, Cap<br \/>\nROF (uncapped in Semi 1), Debounce, and Firing Mode. As standard the<br \/>\nEtek3 has the capability to be set to cover every tourney regulation.<\/li>\n<li>Soft Grips: The new Etek3 grips follow the same design as the Geo and Ego grips. Comfortable, slim, grippy and soft.<\/li>\n<li>OOPS:<br \/>\nThe Etek3 uses the same On\/Off\/Purge System (OOPS) as the Ego10. It is<br \/>\neasy to maintain, easy to turn, and dumps the air from the marker when<br \/>\nit is turned off. It mounts to the bottom of the Etek3 frames using the<br \/>\nrobust T-Rail slide system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t\t\t<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Available Etek3 Upgrades:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are 2 main Etek3 Upgrades:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1. The LT Upgrade Kit:<br \/>\nThis basically takes the LT up to the same basic standard as the AM. It<br \/>\nincludes an all-metal frame, all-metal eye covers and an all-metal<br \/>\nfeedtube assembly.<\/li>\n<li>2. Etek3 Emortal Board: The Emortal board is<br \/>\na fully-functioning LCD board. It uses the same 3-Button navigation<br \/>\nconsole of an Ego or Geo, has the same LCD interface as the Ego and<br \/>\nGeo, and has much of the GUI of the Geo and Ego. The Emortal board will<br \/>\ndrop into any all-metal Etek3 frame.
