Unless you’ve been hiding in a cave for the last few years, you’ve no doubt heard that Orange Paintball pretty much has the carbon fiber bolts on lockdown. Not only is their stuff cool, but it’s manufactured to the highest standards, and you always make power gains.

But in addition to carbon fiber products, they have their own “super-delrin” material called POM (Polyoxymethyl, but we’re positive that you knew that already). This particular gem is crafted entirely from this magical, lightweight substance that is only found deep within the Pyrannian Mountain Range (it’s about 1 mile south of the unicorn herds, so we hear). Sliding easier than all the lubricant in the world could do, this near-weightless super-plastic will not wear out your Ego’s breech, or itself, for that matter.

Not forgetting about the importance of looks, Orange Paintball faded the tip of their bolt in the most logical color possible, just to add that little sparkle of difference. A single o-ring on the front of the bolt seals the air between the barrel and the rest of the breech, ensuring this bolt does exactly what you tell it to, and nothing else. Forget about blowback, if more people start using this bolt, that term just might cease to carry any meaning.

The air from your valve used to endure a high-speed 90 degree turn to continue on down the barrel, powering your paintball out the end. But if you’ve ever watched any high-speed chases on ‘Cops,’ then you know that high-speed 90 degree turns usually end up in a bad way. This bolt comes with an angled inlet port that stabilizes the air coming from your valve and ensures higher speed, lower turbulence.
